Yoga Classes
Yoga means ‘to yoke’ or ‘to unite’. The practice of Yoga leads to the union of individual consciousness with that of the Universal Consciousness
Yoga is essentially a spiritual discipline based on an extremely subtle science, which focuses on bringing harmony between mind and body. It is an art and science of healthy living. The word ‘Yoga’ is derived from the Sanskrit root ‘Yuj’, meaning ‘to join’ or ‘to yoke’ or ‘to unite’. The practice of Yoga leads to the union of individual consciousness with that of the Universal Consciousness, indicating a perfect harmony between the mind and body, Human & Nature.
Yoga offers physical and mental health benefits for people of all ages. And, if you are going through an illness, recovering from surgery or living with a chronic condition, yoga can become an integral part of your treatment and potentially hasten healing.
Yoga can support the healing process and help the person experience symptoms with more clarity and less distress.
WHAT YOU’LL EXPERIENCE:
• Yoga improves strength, balance and flexibility. •
• Yoga helps with back pain relief. •
• Yoga can ease arthritis symptoms. •
• Yoga benefits heart health. •
• Yoga relaxes you, to help you sleep better. •

Numerous studies show yoga’s benefits in arthritis, osteopenia, balance issues, oncology, women’s health, chronic pain and other specialties.
A gentle yoga class can be a good choice. Yoga is a great option if your mobility or balance is limited. Move at your own pace—and remember that any yoga pose can be modified so it’s right for you.
In my own personal life I have been practising Yoga since I was a teenager and have always found the benefits to be encompassing every area of my life, be it physical, emotional, psychological or spiritual.
